Tutorials / HOW-TO

Your first useful SHaiRO conversation

A short tutorial: ask a focused question, check the source and follow up.

Start with a document you know

Choose a short, supported SharePoint document whose contents you already understand. Open SHaiRO on its approved site and check the displayed context. This makes it easier to evaluate the answer.

Ask a focused question

Try a request that gives the document name and the outcome you need:

Find our leave policy and summarise the process for requesting leave. Include the source.

A clear document name, subject or project usually helps more than a vague question about everything in the site.

Check the answer against the source

Open the linked source and compare the answer with the document. Treat the response as an assistant’s interpretation, especially for dates, amounts, exclusions and decisions that affect customers or staff.

Human review mattersAI can make mistakes or work from a bounded excerpt. Ask for clarification and check the original document before acting.

Ask a follow-up

Keep the same conversation to refine the result:

Turn that process into a short checklist for a new employee. Keep the policy exceptions visible.

For a different subject, start a new chat. This helps keep the conversation context relevant.

Review the usage

Each question can involve more than one model call. The backend settles actual credits; the app shows settled usage when available. Your reseller dashboard’s Usage ledger is the place to review recorded requests.

Chat history is local to the browser, user and site. It is not a cross-device archive. See Data & access before relying on history for records.
